TRANSPORTATION

VANCOUVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (YVR)
YVR airport is approximately 30 minutes by train or taxi/ride share to downtown Vancouver.

PUBLIC TRANSIT
The Canada Line is Vancouver’s rapid transit rail connecting YVR to downtown Vancouver in under 30 minutes.  The Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre is a 10 minute walk from the Vancouver City Centre station.  Depending on the time of travel, a 2 Zone ticket, plus YVR Airport AddFare, will cost $8.15 or $9.55.

Please see Translink's Visiting Vancouver guide for more information on using Vancouver's Public Transit System.

For more information on travelling to and around British Columbia, see
Super Natural British Columbia's Getting Here and Around guide.

RIDE SHARE
Lyft, Uber and KABU are authorized providers of Ride App Services at YVR.

UNIVERSITY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA (UBC)
The final day of the conference will take place at UBC.  Transportation will be provided to and from UBC, leaving the conference hotel at 9:15 am and leaving UBC at 6:30 pm.  For those wanting to make their own way from UBC, two options are available:

  1. Public Transit
UBC is serviced by many bus routes with two Transit Exchanges.
On Saturday, the 4 Downtown/Powell and the 14 Downtown/Hastings are the best routes downtown (with stops along Granville St.). These buses leave the UBC Exchange @ Bays 10 & 11 (Google Maps).

  2. Ride-hailing
UBC has designated ride-hailing pick-up locations. The closest designated pick-up location is the
    UBC Flagpole (Google Maps).
